Awareness Event - Lip Synch Battle

February is Oesophagus / Oesophageal Cancer Awareness month in UK (#oesophebruary) and we started it with a Lip Synch Battle when an audience of 50 was entertained by acts miming to popular songs.

A raffle and auction together with general donations on top of the box office takings netted a magnificent total of £1121.84 for Barrett's Wessex.

Our Bus Back Adverts

A number of buses running around the Bognor and Chichester areas during February helped raise awareness.

This is following from similar successful campaigns in Southampton in 2017, Birmingham in 2018 and Basingstoke in 2019.

One person an hour dies from oesophageal cancer in UK. Based on the projected numbers expected to see the adverts, we predict 19 people's lives could be saved by heeding the message.
